Steam Cookbook

A Chef cookbook for installing Steam.

Requirements

This cookbook currently supports each of Steam's platforms: OS X, Windows, and
Ubuntu/Debian.

Usage

Either add the default recipe to your run_list or implement the resource
directly in a recipe of your own.

Recipes

default

Installs Steam.

Resources

steam_app

Used to install or remove the Steam app.

Syntax:

steam_app 'default' do
    action :install
end

Providers

Chef::Provider::SteamApp::MacOsX

Provider for Mac OS X platforms.

Chef::Provider::SteamApp::Windows

Provider for Windows platforms.

Chef::Provider::SteamApp::Debian

Provider for Ubuntu/Debian platforms.

Chef::Provider::SteamApp

A parent provider for all the platform-specific providers to subclass.

Contributing

1. Fork it
2. Create your feature branch (git checkout -b my-new-feature)
3. Add tests for the new feature; ensure they pass (rake)
4. Commit your changes (git commit -am 'Add some feature')
5. Push to the branch (git push origin my-new-feature)
6. Create a new Pull Request
