kms-server Cookbook

Cookbook Version Build Status License

Install and configure the Microsoft KMS server role.

Requirements

This cookbook supports and requires Chef 12.6+.

Platforms

  • Windows Server 2012R2
  • Windows Server 2016

Cookbooks

The following cookbook is required as noted:

  • windows (> 1.36.1) to leverage the windows_feature resource

Usage

Configure your kms host key and tweak other attributes. Then just add kms-server::default to your runlist.

Attributes

Below attributes are available in kms_server root namespace. Most of them are adapted from https://technet.microsoft.com/library/dn502532

Contributing
