yum-influxdb Cookbook

The yum-influxdb cookbook takes over management of the default repositoryids used with the official influxdb repositories. It allows attribute manipulation of the influxdb yum channel.

Chef 11+
yum version 3.2.0 or higher

Platforms

Fedora and RHEL based distributions (RHEL, CentOS, and Scientific Linux) are supported

The following attributes are set by default

Recipes

Usage Example

To disable the influxdb repository through a Role or Environment definition

default_attributes(
  :yum => {
    :influxdb => {
      :enabled => {
        false
       }
     }
   }
 )

To enable the influxdb repository with a wrapper cookbook, place the following in a recipe:

node.default['yum']['influxdb']['enabled'] = true
include_recipe 'yum-influxdb'
