This is a blank cookbook with an empty default recipe.
If this cookbook finds its way on to your Chef Server, or
any of your nodes, you should remove it from your run
lists.
Why?
An obscure bug may result in Chef users unknowingly adding
a cookbook called "roles" to their run lists. To guard
against the possibility of an exploit, I am uploading this
cookbook to the community marketplace so that anyone who
carelessly or through automation retrieves this cookbook
will not thereby fall victim to a bad actor uploading a
malicious cookbook with the name "roles".
Supported Platforms
Inclusion of this cookbook on any platform supported by
chef-client is harmless at best; at worst, it's a waste of
bandwidth. The author does not recommend the use of this
cookbook on any platform under any circumstances.
