Supermarket belongs to the community. While Chef has the responsibility to keep it running and be stewards of its functionality, what it does and how it works is driven by the community. The chef/supermarket repository will continue to be where development of the Supermarket application takes place. This cookbook will manage to configure war file of oracle_client installation in any windows server.

Note: This cookbook is in work in progress. This is the initial release with version 0.1.0. There have been some breaking changes in recent releases.

tomcat_install Cookbook

  1. It changes the file in the shared.loader section
  2. It will create a file of backup in the home directory of tomcat {/usr/local/tomcat9/shared/classes/}.
  3. It changes the context.xml file in the shared.loader section.

e.g. This cookbook makes your favorite breakfast sandwich.





Chef 12.0 or later


toaster - oracle_client needs toaster to brown your bagel.


Data Bag need to crate with data bag name "data_bag_name" and data bag item name "context-user" as it will setup the user account in context.xml file.
