Supermarket Belongs to the Community

Supermarket belongs to the community. While Chef has the responsibility to keep it running and be stewards of its functionality, what it does and how it works is driven by the community. The chef/supermarket repository will continue to be where development of the Supermarket application takes place. Come be part of shaping the direction of Supermarket by opening issues and pull requests or by joining us on the Chef Mailing List.

ruby18

ruby19

Installs Ruby 1.9.2 for use by DEAs.

ruby193

Installs Ruby 1.9.3 for use by DEAs.

Usage

Add one of the recipes to the run list of a DEA node to enable support for Ruby-based applications on that DEA.

Note that other Cloud Foundry components also use Ruby internally; those cookbooks handle installation of any version of Ruby they require. This cookbook only manages support for running user applications.
